Artist's Comments
It is coming close to Cinco De Mayo, so I decided to draw a little something. I used a reference picture of the crest of Mexico, which is also on the Mexican flag.
For those who do not know the story of Cinco de Mayo, it is a holiday that is celebrated for the mexican victory over the french at the Battle of Puebla. The mexican army was outnumbered, but was able to defeat the french army. The battle is also the last time that a army from another continent invaded the Americas. "Viva la raza!" |
